I love this pic. It pretty much sums up our days at the park. Kate and I hanging out and Evan running, scooting, biking, plasma car(ing?), training, and all sort of other "ings" around us.
I just need to post that this happened! I'm so far behind and I have so many things to post. I was far too lazy to edit and dig through all of my pics so this is the summed up version of our camping trip. It was great! The kids had a blast and everything went well until Sunday morning when we were met by rain- and lots of it! It worked out well seeing as though we were going to go home anyway! Evan saw real frogs! He hasn't stopped talking about that yet! Kate was a trooper. Mom was a trooper- and we all know Paul did all the work. We will definitely repeat our camping excursion soon!
We were out of town on Father's Day (that is, the kids and I were out of town on Father's Day), but I figured it gave Paul a chance to miss us. Boy did he! The feelings were mutual. My kids couldn't wait to see their dad. Evan gave him the biggest hug and Kate just wanted to jump and play all over him. Paul is the world's greatest dad. He loves his babies and boy do they love him back! I an lucky and grateful to have a such a good partner in raising our kids. We love you dad!
We have a Magnolia tree in our complex- every spring it reminds me of the beauties of the south. It reminds me of my days in Alabama and all the good memories that are associated with it.
