I am finally posting a few of the pictures from the last almost two months. I have more, but I had to start somewhere. Christmas was fun and very busy. Between our trip to Utah, followed by a trip to Arizona, my neice staying with us for a week and a half, company for a few days and a few weeks of this awful cold that has been going around, we have been keeping a crazy pace. Things have finally slowed down, but they are always sure to pick up again! Enjoy these pics and I will try to post a few more in the next few days.
Evan at our family's Christmas Eve pageant.
His cousins were all too eager to help Evan enjoy the sweet things in life!
Evan making the most of different cabinets at Emily's house in Arizona.
Emily got a very nice new dog and Evan was all about him. Luckily the dog just hung out when Evan tried to climb all over him and pull his hair out.
Ahhh... don't ask me where Paul got those ugly sweats from, but magically he brought Evan downstairs in time to watch the National Championship. LSU won just in case you were wondering. It made for a happy evening at home.
We dressed Evan and his cousin up as lambs for our Christmas pageant. We figured they would be roaming anyway, we might as well give them a part!
This is Evan playing with his new activity table from Santa- he had a very exciting and overwhelming Christmas morning.
We aren't used to winter weather, but it was fun to dress Evan up in warm clothes. We just think he is sooo... cute!

Here comes Santa Clause...
As a side note- I'm trying to get this stupid music off of my blog, but can't seem to get it done. Sorry for the technical delay, I'm just not literate with the extra's on my blog!

It's our anniversary!
It has been four adventurous years of marriage for us! We've made it this long and still love eachother- we are hoping we can continue the streak! I was going to post a picture of us, but I couldn't find a recent one of us where we didn't look like white trash. Happy anniversary!
Sweet Boy!
Look at my beautiful baby boy! I am so partial to my own kid! He has been amazing to watch these past few weeks. He woke up one day and decided it was officially time to crawl. I guess scooting is for the birds now. He is starting to climb on anything he can possibly pull himself up on. He has figured out how to sit up when he feels like it. His little personality is starting to come out more and more each day. He talks all the time and he cracks himself up (just like his dad). I think he is amazing! When he first came life as we knew it was over, but it's funny how with each new stage life as we knew it is over again. I think he just gets better and better!
Happy Halloween!
He still loves his toes!
This is his new trick- sitting himself up!
He's pretty quick these days! He got away from me and I just let him get some air on his cheecks.
Paul's mom was in Arizona to visit kids and grandkids so we made a trip to see her. Evan and I stayed for a few extra days to play. Evan was spoiled with lots of attention and he loved it!

We didn't start the fire,
but something did! It is a mess down here in San Diego. We are about 5 miles from the mass evacuations. Our area hasn't been evacuated, but we are packed and ready to go should we need to. There are 9 (that's right 9) fires in San Diego. We might have to self evacuate so we can start to breathe a little better. A couple of Paul's employees and a good friend of mine have been evacuated already. Crazy what can happen in the space of 24 hours!

Catching Up
October? Is it really almost the end of October? It has been a crazy month. We started off by going to Utah for Scott Brady's wedding. We spent a quick weekend meeting up with friends and family and have been going ever since. Evan is getting HUGE! I can't believe he is already 7 months. He is scooting all around the house. He has discovered freedom and he loves it! Paul was vacuuming the house and Evan was following him from room to room. We just think he is soooo.. cute!
Like father, like son. Paul and Evan catching a Sunday nap.
Evan and his counsin Riley.
Paul and I at our good friend Scott's wedding.
Posing with one of my favorite people in the world, my friend Christy.
How cute are they?
