Kate is growing up so fast. She's getting to be a great communicator and is a ham just like her father! Evan and Kate have kind of become friends (finally!) which is a welcome relief. They still fight, but she loves him to death and they both love getting into trouble together! Her newest interest are puzzles, books (of course), Peppa Pig, and picking out and changing her clothes throughout the day. The latest drives me nuts! I'm used to a boy. I hand him his clothes and he puts them on. He does not care what they are- easy! Kate is into picking out her own clothes which is great on the days we don't have anyplace to go, but on the few days where I would like her to look cute- it's usually a power struggle. But I will admit- she is so excited to put on her chosen outfit- that I kind of don't care. She is so proud of herself for doing it by herself. She is way more independent than Evan- which is a good and bad thing. It's nice to be needed, but after she finishes her task she'll yell "self" and "yeah" across the house! Her favorite song to sing is 'Skip to my lou". It sounds more like "gip, gip, gip to OOOOO". Yeah, we think its pretty cute! She loves to "jump bed" with Evan. We recently put them in big kid beds in their room and it's funny how good of pals they are at bedtime. I love hearing them laugh and play. Best sound in the world! Kate- we love you very much!
