Rainy days...

don't go away! My boy loves them too much! We have had a couple of rainy weeks and no one has loved them more than Evan. When he sees the rain he begs to go outside and when he gets outside he makes the most of every puddle, stream and snail. He discovered how the storm drains work by putting leafs in the stream and watching them go down the drain. I love watching him learn and make the most of our "bad" weather.

Six months

I think my little nuggets are the cutest in the world! Somedays I just can't get enough of them. Kate is growing like a weed! I can't believe she is six months already. She eats like a champ- squash is her preferred dish. She rolls all over the place, chews on everything is sight and tries to sit up when you lay her down. I think she might end up being just as crazy as her brother. She still is the sweetest girl in the world. I don't know how to explain her, but there is this incredible innocence about her. She has a cute little giggle, in fact she giggles at you or anything more than she talks or coo's. Evan is a good big brother, whenever she rolls or does something new, he tells her "good job baby girl". There is nothing sweeter than that!

Master Sports? Not so much...

So we put Evan into a Master Sports class at our local park. We thought it was a great idea to get him more involved, play with other kids, learn to play a few sports. Well maybe we were wrong! He HATES it! These are pics of week two, Paul said it was better than week one. Maybe by the end of it, he will love it just in time! Good thing we just spent money to basically play with our kid at the park- I do that daily for free! Although watching those little kids chase the foot ball was to hilarious- nothing cuter than a group of three year olds running in circles!

Dear Evan,

This is what I let your sister play with while you are sleeping.
Love,
Mom and Kate

More Easter Celbration

Thanks to our gracious hosts! We love playing with our cousins!

Lets just say that Easter turned out to by awesome. Not only did the Easter bunny visit, but we spent the rest of the day with the Stone's (my awesome cousins). It was fun to go see their new digs, and play in their yard! We hardly saw Evan all day! Evan and Scout played like the best cousins ever. We went for a great walk which led to a park with a train in it. Evan didn't want to leave. He came up and asked me if I had a ticket. It cracked me up! I love seeing him start to pretend, and there is no better pretend scenario than a train for him. It was a happy Easter indeed!

Easter Morning

It was a great Easter morning at our house! We dyed easter eggs on Saturday for the first time. Evan loved it! He would go open the fridge just so he could look at his hard work. When he woke up to find an easter egg hidden in his room he said "mom, that is just so silly". Nothing was sillier than his level of excitement. He was so sad when we found all of the easter eggs. I think I've learned that I will need to make more eggs next year!

Sweet Baby Girl

I think that it's official- I have the CUTEST baby girl in the world! We just LOVE having this sweet girl around here. She adores Evan, and sometimes he's happy to accomadate her adulation! She really just brings a little something special to our house. We love you Kate!
