Love

This picture was taken with my crappy phone- wish it was better quality, but I'm glad to have captured this little moment. Evan and Kate are starting to get along better. They fight over toys and various other things, but they are also starting to figure out that they can have fun together. I love it when Evan goes to search Kate out when he thinks of something fun. I love that Kate will share anything with Evan if he asks nicely. Late at night is when these two really like to pow-wow, but it is slowly transitioning into a daytime/playtime thing. I HEART my kids!

The nuggets

Trouble

Cousin Adam

Nothing makes my kids more excited than a visit form one of their favorite cousins. Adam is the worlds most fun cousin. He plays with my kids and wears them out for days. Evan even drew pictures in honor of Adam before his arrival. Come back Adam!

Pool time

Enough said.

Disneyland

This year we opted for a day at Disneyland instead of a birthday party. In all honesty this is the first time I have taken Evan to Disneyland. I know we live here, but I LOVE d-land and I didn't want to take my kids until they were old enough to appreciate it and old enough for us all to have fun. We got a babysitter for Kate and went to D-land with just the three of us. Evan was excited to have a day with his parents all to himself. He LOVED it, and so did we. I missed Kate and wished she was there, but I thought it was nice to spend time with Evan. He rode all the rides he could, and was hoping to get to ride all of the roller-coasters. He was scared of the dressed up characters- he never has been a fan of those. His favorite ride was the little mermaid and the roller coaster in toon-town. It was a great day and I'm glad we waited and made it such a big deal.

Evan's 5th Birthday

Can you believe my baby is 5???!! I can't. Evan was very excited for his birthday this year- he wanted to be five so bad. We celebrated his birthday with out family starting in the morning. We got up, opened presents and ate cake- therefore he is in his pajamas. His gifts were mostly trains and cars- a boy can never have too many of those! Evan is a bright, funny, and happy kid. He loves to be a daredevil and trying crazy things. He is coordinated like his dad, and musical like his mom. He is a great singer. He knows the words to most of the songs on the radio. He can pick out instruments when we listen to classical music. He loves making up knock-knock jokes. He loves his friends. He mostly loves his sister. He is an awesome kid and I am so blessed to have been his mom for the last five fun years!
