I had a big Easter dream of posting a picture of my little dude in his cute searsucker easter outfit on here, but they gave him chocolate in nursery and by the time we made it home he was covered in m&m's. It has been a busy few weeks and I have totally neglected posting, let alone take any pictures. Let's just say pregnancy #2 hasn't been so great. I have spent the majority of my time on the couch and trying to play, read and do as much mothering as I can. Not exactly mother of the year, but I'm hoping that things will turn around and I can go back to what we call normal. We did take Evan to SeaWorld with my cousin Chris and his family. We had him all psyched out to see Shamoo, but I don't think he was planning on Shamoo being a whale. The second he came out of the water, he started sobbing! He was terrified! It was pretty funny. Then we took him to go see Elmo, that didn't go as planned either. I forgot the 3D movies have water, wind and other special effects that would freak out a boy who wasn't expecting it. The good news is he still loves "melmo" and he talks about "mamoo" even if he didn't like them in real life. I figure if we keep going, he eventually like it right?
We spent a weekend up on the OC with our friends Mandy and Jason. We sure miss our friends up there! Evan got to play with Luke or "guke" the whole weekend and he still talks about him. He had a blast riding bikes, playing trains, and racing cars in the back yard. Thanks guys for letting us crash- we loved it. We are just waiting for you to come play with us in SD.
Special thanks go out to my Chris and Anna who drove all the way from Pamona to bring us Easter dinner! How much better could my family get?! Evan was glad to see Scout, and I was happy to play with Charlie- who is officially the nicest baby ever. We love you guys!
That is a quick update, I do have a few pics to post- I'll get on that tomorrow!

congrats!!! i am so happy for you guys!
I'm so sad we missed Evan's seersucker. You know we love to come invade your home! Anyway, I think we owe you for all the Diet Pepsi's Chris consumes.
Congrats on the pregnancy! I hope you start to feel better soon.
For the record, we didn't give chocolate to Nursery kids on Sunday. Can you imagine what the mess would be with 15 little ones running around? Evan was cute and clean when I literally handed him to Paul at the end of church. So, this the chocolate mishap was all Paul's doing, or lack of preventing. Warn him that I'm going to give him crap for trying to pin that one on Nursery. :)
I say post the photos w/the chocolate! NOthing better than sears sucker and chocolate! We had a mellow Easter...kinda nice for a change. But I did have to eat all the choc dipped strawberries myself...my girls ate zero and Marcus had 1! I must say, I wasnt' heartbroken!
What!? You're pregnant??
OK...I think it's offically been way too long since we have talked!
Good thing our GT is in the near future!! YEAH!!
